After 8 years in hibernation, Ivory Debris is excited to return to the stages of Central PA. We donít do fashion. We donít do gimmicks. We donít do retro hairstyles. We sure as hell donít do rap. But if your musical soul dwells in the pop-culture wave that flowed between the freeform exploration of the 60's and the technical precision of the 80s, with a lot of danceable southern rock for good measure, weíre happy to oblige.
Ivory Debris was formed in 1994 by Gary Smith (Screaming Ducks, Smokin' Bananas, Live Bait), Todd Isett (Celler Dwellerz, Gus & Company) and Jerre Price (Trinity, Beaver Ave. Beggars) and continued through 2006, performing hard-driven classic rock throughout central PA. For a dozen years, Ivory Debris was temporary home to some of Happy Valley's finest players.
Our current lineup fuses past Ivory Debris alumni with the current acoustic vocal ensemble ESP, creating a hard-driving classic rock machine that waltzes carefully with pristine, precision vocals. Our set list is sure to ring a bell, and our seasoned group of musicians promise to ring that bell with authority. Pat, Jerre and Ralf provide vocals that are music to your ears. Scotty and Eric lay down the rhythm that your feet will follow. Eileen glues the music together with classical perfection. And Jungle Jimmy Virden? He just stands around being JJV. And thatís enough for us. For you, too. Trust us.
We hope to see you at a local venue. Ivory Debris is available for establishments and private parties within a reasonable drive of State College, PA. Contact us for information. And thanks for listening.
